Dawn is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a deep commitment to supporting families through their infant feeding journeys. When her own daughter was small, she joined local La Leche League meetings looking for reassurance and was so inspired that she began volunteering herself. For over six years, she has served as a La Leche League leader, creating a warm, compassionate space for mothers and parents to find community and receive empathetic, evidence-based support and encouragement.
Before entering the world of maternal and infant health, Dawn studied cinema and worked as a video editor. While she no longer works in the film industry, she continues to edit keepsake films for families. When she isn’t working, she spends most of her time homeschooling her daughter, and enjoys listening to audiobooks, crafting, and getting outdoors with her family. She lives in Astoria with her husband, daughter, and two furbabies.
