  • Annie is extremely patient, open, and supportive. She has a calming energy and really helps you understand all of the things that can support your breastfeeding, and provides you with a customized plan that works for you. I highly recommend working with Annie!

  • I had a great experience working with Kara! We were so frustrated with breastfeeding and not sure how to proceed. Kara came in and did a great job listening but also asking questions so that she could figure out what might be the challenge. She offered lots of different options and encouragement (which was mostly what I needed at that point). I'll definitely be going back to Kara in the future if we run into any more challenges.

  • Patricia was instrumental in boosting my confidence in breast feeding. My daughter was born a bit early so we struggled with latching, Patricia assured me that some of our struggles were normal and gave helpful tips on how to strengthen her mouth to help with latching. We are still working and practicing, but we are using our nipple shield less and less because of these sessions.

  • Would highly recommend Annie! She was extremely responsive before & after our appointment. She provided a personalized care plan & a plethora of resources shortly after our appointment. During our time together, she was compassionate & helpful. I will certainly be following up with her & continuing to work together after trying out her recommendations.

  • It was a great pleasure to work with Annie for both my children. She provided great information and help in the early days of parenthood when it’s hard to make sense of a lot of what’s going in. She is a great listener and always give you the support needed to do what’s best for you and baby. Her knowledge is so deep and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to work with a lactation consultant.

  • Annie is the third lactation consultant I’ve worked with. She was the first to notice my son’s tongue tie and work with me to find the right surgeon and follow up after care. I’ve worked through mastitis, recurrent clogs, vasospasms and painful latches with her, and without her advice and patient, knowledgeable manner I am not sure I would still be breastfeeding my son. We finally have gotten into a groove and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Annie!

  • Marie is 10 months now, and such a happy baby. I’m still breastfeeding her twice a day, and we’ve managed to keep her off formula till now. She’s eating vegetables, bread, rice, cheese, beans, .... she’s crawling, walking while holding onto things, and she said her first words when she turned 8 months. She’s waving, dancing, and soon curious - she accepts strangers straight away, because everything is so exciting to her. In other words, we’ve been super lucky, and I truly believe her diet has something to do with it, so: THANK YOU!

    — Bianca

  • Annie was really easy to talk to and approachable. She was able to help address a tongue tie and feeding issues even virtually. Talking with her really helped me feel comfortable in my new role as a mom and eased my concerns about breastfeeding.

  • I truly am so thankful that we had your support in the early days of breastfeeding. After a disastrous experience with not being able to nurse or produce enough milk the first time, I didn't trust myself I would be able to this time. But I did it! He and I did it together, with support from you! And still going on demand a year later. 💜

  • I just put Tegan down for a nap and was thinking about how incredibly understanding and helpful you were during a really difficult time. Thank you so much! Really, I don’t know what we would have done.

    —Shannon

  • Kara was full of wisdom, emotional intelligence and very helpful.

  • Besides all technical help you gave us, what helped me the most was remembering to take care of myself so I could give it a fair shot. What you gave us was the knowledge, confidence and support that we needed, and we are still living off this continued strength you instilled in us from the first few weeks. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • Jonah just self weaned at a little short of 3 1/2 and we both seem totally content with it. I'll always be grateful for your home visit and all your support when I was very near my breaking point. It was absolutely key in turning it all around.

  • Because of my work with you, I know that I'm a breastfeeding mom. I have bene able to connect with Ava in a unique way that I'll cherish forever. Even though it wasn't exactly how I wanted, but it was exactly how it needed to be. You met me where I was physically and emotionally and took all of that into consideration for our plan.

  • Annie is kind, compassionate, experienced, and very thorough. As a first-time mom whose baby was in the NICU I felt very overwhelmed with feeding my baby. I had always envisioned having a strong breast feeding relationship with my baby but he would not latch. I was not producing enough milk and had to supplement with formula. Annie did not make me feel guilty for supplementing with formula and taught me ways to increase my breast milk supply. She also introduced several methods to make latching easier for my baby. She also identified a tongue tie that my pediatrician did not find as my baby was gaining weight on his own. She made a recommendation for an excellent surgeon and speech pathologist. I HIGHLY recommend Annie's expertise to a mom looking for lactation support. Annie is an expert in her field and will make you feel comfortable.

  • I can’t say enough good things about Kara! As a first time mom with a baby who was having trouble latching, I was stressed and nervous the first time I met with Kara. I was put at ease quickly though by her calming, empathetic, and patient manner. Our appointments together were very effective, and our baby went from latching for the first time with a nipple shield during our first appointment with Kara to being able to latch without a shield after two more meetings. In between sessions, Kara also answered all of my questions thoroughly and quickly. The resources that she were always helpful as well. I felt very supported throughout the entire process! I highly recommend Kara!!

  • I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kara. I’ve had two sessions with her thus far and she is the reason I am continuing with my breastfeeding journey. She provided me with the education and tools I needed for pumping and breastfeeding and has even been helpful with tips for my baby who suffers from reflux. I rely on Kara’s detailed care plan DAILY. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kara and her services. The support has been incredible and more people need to know about it!

    — Alexandra

  • I'm so glad we had several lactation consultations with Kara. She made us feel so at ease and provided much needed support and reassurance during the early days of breastfeeding and looking after our newborn. I had a follow up session to go through breast pumping and when to introduce a bottle as part of the feeding process. This was so helpful as Kara was able to help me understand the process and measure me correctly, without their help I would have had no idea! Kara is so lovely and I highly recommend her consultation for all new parents.

    — Mary Elizabeth

  • I was a wreck when I met with Annie, and she was completely cool and calm, providing practical help while also helping me reframe my experience as a failure. Annie stood out for her evidence-based recommendations, measured communication of ideas and opinions that don't (can't) have a strong evidence base, and for her psychosocial support and respect for me and for my baby.

    — Eleanor

  • I loved working with Annie! During our appointments she was super helpful in showing me great nursing positions and troubleshooting my concerns. She also followed up with a ton of resources that have been extremely useful for our family. Thank you so much!

    —Mattie

  • Patricia was incredibly understanding of my unique issues and very empathetic and practical with her guidance on how to address my issues. I feel more confident about how to feed my baby when I return to work thanks to her support.

    —Nancy

  • Kara was extremely helpful in figuring out what works best for our family. She is a wealth of knowledge, and we loved her gentle and flexible approach. We always felt as if she was listening to our specific needs and catering our care plan accordingly. She is completely judgement-free and a pleasure to work with. We would recommend Kara to anyone looking for lactation support.

  • Kara was so informative and helpful. We worked on a lot of different things together from latching to pumping to bottle feeding. We definitely learned a lot and have been able to implement everything Kara taught us. She was so patient and compassionate, we recommend her to anyone looking for an IBCLC!

    —Alanna

  • Working with Annie was exactly what I needed. After receiving the news that my baby had lost weight, working with Annie helped me regain my confidence in nursing and helped get my baby back on track for weight gain. My voice was heard and the care plan benefitted both me and my baby.
