Meet Kara, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who brings her passion for supporting families to Queens and Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from UC San Diego's Lactation Consultant Program (Class of 2021), Kara has been with City Lactation since 2022.

Kara respects their unique feeding journeys and prioritizes inclusivity when crafting personalized lactation plans through collaboration.
Outside of supporting families, Kara is an enthusiastic explorer of NYC's incredible food scene (ask her for some recommendations!). She also enjoys curling up with a good fiction book, playing the piano, and taking walks with her dog, Lemon.
