One of the highest values I hold is the value of education, and I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. Over the past several years, I have been growing my knowledge and skills in the field of lactation.
In 2020, I enrolled in UC San Diego’s Lactation Consultant professional certificate program of study. Upon my graduation, I began working as the Lead Curriculum Coordinator at LiquidGoldConcept, a startup focused on training healthcare professionals in the area of clinical lactation in order to globally improve maternal and infant health outcomes. Beginning in 2021, I had the great fortune of interning at City Lactation with Annie Frisbie, IBCLC, serving as my mentor. I became an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) in 2022. It is now my greatest joy to be working in private practice and supporting the wonderful families in NYC.
I live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband and our dog. My pronouns are she/her/hers. Apart from supporting families, you will most likely find me reading a good book, playing piano, and cooking at home or enjoying some great food around the city.
