My journey to becoming a lactation consultant started almost 17 years ago after my oldest child was born. My first postpartum experience was what inspired me to change my career path. Breastfeeding was not smooth sailing with any of my children and I could not have done it without support from an IBCLC who gave me the tools and confidence to keep going. I believe in providing an individualized evidence-based approach to supporting families as they navigate feeding and postpartum recovery.
